The stadium was built in 1926. 6 teams play two eight-week seasons in the spring and autumn of each year. A professional baseball team, Tokyo Yakult Swallows also plays on the stadium as its home field.
School flags of Big6 are fluttering in the breeze.
The place where the stadium is located is named Meiji Jingu Gaien. Meiji Jingu Gaien has also Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium. In this photo, next to Jingu Stadium, the National Stadium is seen.
